Fabio DE ROSA received the B. Sc. and M. Sc. degrees in Computer Science at the University La Sapienza (Rome). He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science in 2006 at the University La Sapienza (Rome), with a thesis on ‘Adaptive Process Management in Dynamic and Mobile Scenarios’. 

He has over 10 years of experience in research, design, development, and test of distributed system, adaptive business process management, pervasive computing, service-oriented computing, and service oriented architecture. 

Fabio De Rosa is the chief architect of the new version of the simplyTestify SaaS cloud architecture, which aims to guarantee high ease of use, elasticity, availability, continuity, reliability, security, and performance of the simplyTestify test & verification service provision to our customers.

Fabio De Rosa was involved in the EU FP7 MIDAS project, where he was principal investigator and chief architect of the model-driven, low code automation of the configuration, deployment, and binding of the test engine, of the test execution, and of the test arbitration. Previously, he had been involved as scientific coordinator in the BN4SAT French research project and as chief architect in the HealthSOAF Italian research project.

Ariele-Paolo MAESANO received his B. Sc. and M. Sc. degrees in Computer Science from the University Pierre et Marie Curie (UPMC). He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) from the UPMC in 2015 with a thesis on ‘Bayesian dynamic scheduling for service composition testing’. He was a member of the Decision Aid, Operational Research, and Intelligent System Department. 

His research interests are directed towards decision aid methods, probabilistic graphical models, the implementation of fast inference methods for complex system troubleshooting, and the application of probabilistic inference to service testing dynamic scheduling and evidence-based planning. 

Ariele-Paolo Maesano is the chief architect of the new version of the simplyTestify enhanced test execution/arbitration engine, that ensures the freedom to operate and whose advanced multithreaded architecture allows grey-box testing of large scale services architecture with end-to-end non-deterministic scenarios. 

As a researcher at the Laboratoire d’Informatique de Paris 6 (LIP6 - UPMC), he was involved in the EU FP7 MIDAS project, where he was principal investigator in the application of probabilistic graphical models on the dynamic prioritisation of test cases (dynamic scheduling of test runs), and on the reactive planning of test sessions (with on the fly and evidence–based generation of test cases). Previously, he was the principal investigator in the BN4SAT French research project. 



Libero MAESANO has a B. Sc. degree in Mathematics (University La Sapienza - Rome) and a M. Sc. degree in Artificial Intelligence and Pattern Recognition (University Pierre et Marie Curie – Paris). 

He has more than thirty years of experience in research, development, consulting, and management in computer science and software engineering, but also in business development. His research interests have spanned the areas of operating systems, language compilation, intelligent systems, knowledge engineering, industrial systems, and distributed systems. He worked at the Bull Operating System Architecture Group, at the Bull Research Centre – in particular in the European ADA Compiler Project - and at the Bull Artificial Intelligence Research and Development Centre where he developed the first French industrial expert system (troubleshooting of disk units). Libero Maesano has been the chief architect of SACHEM (real time supervision of blast furnaces), one of the most important knowledge engineering projects in Europe. He has been Director of the Java Competency Centre of SEMA Group in 1998. He is the first author of a volume on Web services technologies (Maesano L. et al., Services Web in J2EE et .NET, Eyrolles Paris 2003) that is considered as a reference in France. He is managing partner of Simple Engineering Srl, which founded in 2009 Simple Engineering France, a research company focused on test automation of distributed services architecture. 

Libero Maesano was involved in the EU FP7 MIDAS project as the head of the architecture team. He has been the principal contributor to the confidential deliverable D8.5 ‘Simple Engineering Business Plan’. Previously, he had been the project manager of the BN4SAT French research project.
